Parletto is a modern collaboration platform—a conversation parlor, if you will—designed for teams and individuals who value ownership, reliability, and thoughtful communication.
It is team chat with channels, direct messages, threads, mentions, reactions, file attachments, and real-time delivery.
Clear conversation, on your terms
The word “Parletto” draws from “parlay,” meaning to discuss or negotiate, and shares roots with “parlor,” a space for meaningful conversation. We believe communication tools should be calm, trustworthy, and built to last.
Self-hosted or managed
You can use Parletto today as a managed service at app.parletto.com. We host it for you and apply updates. The database is backed up nightly and each backup is kept for 30 days; uploaded files are not yet part of the backup. It is free during early access; billing at $2 per user / month starts later, and we will give you notice before it does.
The open-source core is opening shortly under the MIT license. Once it does, you will be able to host Parletto yourself on your own infrastructure. It is the same software: the managed service is built from the same codebase and takes in changes from the open-source core.
